Caylee Knox (She/Her)
MA, LPC, NCC
Health. Humor. Purpose. My values are rooted in a passionate and playful curiosity for the human condition, a belief in a holistic perspective, a love for collaboration, and building meaningful and transformational relationships based on trust and safety. Simply put, what you do proves what you believe, and I believe guiding others to grow is the best of humanity.
Approach
Our wholeness is profoundly influenced by the quality of our relationships. I am here alongside you to co-create a new relational experience that feels safe and nurturing. I specialize in working with those who self-abandon for the sake of others’ expectations or to avoid discomfort. It is my goal to bring authenticity and compassionate curiosity into the relationship with a belief that we are wired for connection and a basic need for acceptance when expressing ourselves.
I use a whole-person approach towards personal development and emphasize integration of all parts of the self while exploring relationship patterns, personal purpose, family of origin dynamics, identity development, inner child healing, and trauma histories.
My approach to counseling is informed by experiential, psychodynamic, and internal family systems theoretical orientations with specific focuses in trauma, attachment theory, and somatic and mindfulness work. I believe everyone is worthy of care, acceptance, and love, and am honored to work with all regardless of gender, sexual orientation/identity, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability, or economic background.
“If you want to let go, you must fall in love with the part of you that is holding on.”
